Digital HRD Unlocks the Potentials of Gen Z
[Tom Haak]
HR Trend Institute Director

*Introduction

I will give an overview of the important trends that create opportunities for Learning and Development. In my characteristic high-paced style I will cover subjects as personalisation, learning in the flow of work, the learning experience, skill mapping, the end of jobs and organisations as accelerators of change in society. There will be ample time for Questions and answers.

*Introduction

The group KT as a telecommunication corporation has been rapidly transformed into a digital platform corporation, Digico. As we truly recognized that human resources is the vital and imperative element of the transformation KT has been seeking to, we launched the project to develop future workforce specializing in AI and DX since 2020. The original training system in our corporation are not suitable for growing AI workforce, so that we established a new training system featured by a long-term and all-day program. This new program mainly aims to make education and training more practical and related to real business tasks by introducing practice platforms, real task performance, expert teaching and proving AI capability as well as theoretical learning. We have an expectation that KT would be a leading precedent and case to provide genuine insights for those wishing to secure and develop AI workforce in upcoming 4th industrial revolution and AI/DX era.

*Introduction

Artificial intelligence technology is advancing very rapidly and is being applied across industries. No one can teach all the new AI technologies that are developed day by day. Waiting for someone to teach them makes us fall behind. HRD must now shift from the way instructors teach to the way students learn on their own. To be successful, you need three things: high-quality content, a culture of discussion, and a community. In this forum, I would like to share our experiences at AIFFEL, an AI innovation school established with these three factors in mind.
